St.Hilaire graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2001, where she was a member of the Honors Program and Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Ms. St.Hilaire graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2007, where she was a member of the Law Review. While in law school, Ms. St.Hilaire clerked for the Honorable Pamela L. North, Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. After law school, Ms. St.Hilaire clerked for the Honorable Nancy Davis-Loomis, Administrative Judge, Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. Ms. St.Hilaire was admitted to practice law in Maryland in 2007 and in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 2008. From 2008-2010, Ms. St.Hilaire has volunteered as the attorney coach for Calvert High School Mock Trial Team. She is a member of the Calvert County Bar Association and Anne Arundel County Bar Association.
