Sarah M. Erly practices criminal litigation, civil litigation, and family law at Cumberland & Erly, LLC. She graduated with honors from University of Central Florida in 2013, where she was a member of the Honors Program and Delta Epsilon Iota Honor Society, and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in 2016. While in law school, Ms. Erly was a member of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & Law, serving as Publications Editor in her final year, and a member of the Alternative Dispute Honor Society.
Ms. Erly was admitted to practice law in Maryland in 2016. After law school and before joining Cumberland & Erly, LLC, she clerked for the Honorable Paul W. Grimm, United States District Judge, District Court of Maryland.
