Lisa M. Pryor focuses her practice on domestic matters including divorce, custody, visitation, protective orders and child support. She also handles civil litigation, real estate law, landlord/tenant and minor criminal offenses. In 2010, she graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a focus on Criminal Justice. She was an active member on the Community Service Executive Board and was also a member of the University Honors Program. Ms. Pryor went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2013. During law school, Ms. Pryor was actively involved in the Student Bar Association, serving as her Student Bar Association President in her final year, and was a member of the Labor and Employment Law Trial Team.
Ms. Pryor was admitted to practice law in Maryland in 2013. During law school, Ms. Pryor clerked for the Ireland Law Reform Commission, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, and the Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to joining Cumberland & Erly, Ms. Pryor worked for a large firm in Rockville, Maryland, focused primarily on representing banks and investors in real estate litigation.
